Frank A. Rothermel

Attorney Frank A. Rothermel is a partner with the Bernhardt Rothermel Siegel PC in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Board-certified as a civil trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, Mr. Rothermel devotes his practice exclusively to personal injury law, maintaining a primary focus on the areas of medical malpractice, products liability claims and bad faith insurance disputes.

Over the course of his nearly 30 years practicing law, Mr. Rothermel has achieved unprecedented success advocating on behalf of those in need. Having recovered numerous settlements and awards in excess of a million dollars, he is a member of the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and he holds an AV Preeminent peer review rating* from Martindale-Hubbell for his impeccable professionalism and exceptional legal abilities.

Having begun his legal career as a fraud prosecutor with the U.S. Department of Justice, Mr. Rothermel received the Attorney General’s Special Achievement Award as well as the U.S. Veterans Administration Certificate of Appreciation Award. In addition, he also received the Integrity Award from the inspector general of the Department of Health and Human Services in 1990.

A 1984 graduate of Juniata College, Mr. Rothermel obtained his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1988. While in law school, he served as articles editor for the University of Pittsburgh Law Review, and he graduated Order of the Coif and Order of the Barrister. The Pennsylvania Bar Association admitted him to practice in 1988, and he is also licensed to practice in New Jersey as well as before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the Intermediate Superior Court.

Widely regarded as a leader in his field, Mr. Rothermel writes extensively and conducts continuing legal education seminars across his region on a variety of legal topics related to effective trial advocacy, bad faith insurance matters and other related subjects.
