Jamie L. Ford

Jamie L. Ford is an associate at Sidney L. Gold and Associates, P.C., and she has developed a reputation as an excellent employment law attorney during her relatively brief career. Located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she provides representation to both employees and companies throughout the metropolitan area in a variety of related matters.

The types of cases that Ms. Ford has been involved in have included discrimination claims arising out of such federal laws as Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Pregnancy Discrimination Act. She has also handled claims under the Family and Medical Leave Act and the Fair Labor Standards Act. Ms. Ford has experience in both filing and defending claims of workplace sexual harassment, and she has handled cases involving allegations by employees that they were wrongfully terminated or otherwise retaliated against as a result of being a whistleblower. As an undergraduate, Ms. Ford attended West Chester University, where she majored in business and received a Bachelor of Science cum laude in 2011. She then went on to pursue her legal education at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where she received a Dean's Merit Scholarship. While she was in law school, Ms. Ford spent one summer as a legal assistant at a Valley Forge firm and then interned at a firm in Media. She was awarded her Juris Doctor in 2015, and she has been with Sidney L. Gold and Associates, P.C., since that time. Ms. Ford is admitted to practice before all Pennsylvania and New Jersey state courts.
