Academically accomplished, Ms. Hardy completed her Bachelor of Arts in communications in 2005 at Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, followed by her J.D. from Penn State Dickinson Law in 2013. She further enhanced her leadership skills through the University of Pennsylvania's DiverseForce On Boards – Board Leadership and Governance Program in 2020. The program covered topics such as nonprofit board introduction, strategic planning, legal responsibilities, finance fundamentals, and organizational fundraising and marketing, all with an emphasis on diversity, equity and inclusion.

During law school, Ms. Hardy actively contributed as community service director for the National Latina/o Law Student Association, and was a member of the Latino Law Student Association and the Women’s Law Caucus. Licensed in Pennsylvania since 2013, she is also fluent in Spanish and remains deeply involved in the community, dedicating time to mentoring. She serves as a board member for the Hispanic Bar Association of Pennsylvania, the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and the Lawyer Referral and Information Service
