John P. Dogum

John P. Dogum represents clients in eastern Pennsylvania, dedicating all his practice to litigation as a partner at Martin Law LLC. With decades of experience in the legal field of workers’ compensation law, he formerly represented major insurance carriers and Fortune 500 companies, giving him unique insight into how both sides of the case may operate. Since 1992, he has been admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.

Authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, Mr. Dogum is a certified specialist in workers’ compensation law in Pennsylvania, certified by the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Section on Workers’ Compensation Law. He has been named to the Best Lawyers in American since 2013, and for his high ethical standards and long list of successful results, he holds the highest peer rating possible of AV Preeminent* from Martindale-Hubbell.

At Susquehanna University in 1988, Mr. Dogum earned a Bachelor of Science before attending the Widener University School of Law. There he obtained a Juris Doctor in 1992, and he shares his knowledge as a presenter and lecturer on both the local and national level, including a first-impression case he argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He also appears before workers’ compensation judges in Pennsylvania’s eastern region.

He is a member of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice, the Philadelphia Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Experienced in litigating claims under the Federal Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, Mr. Dogum is well-known for client advocacy and aggressive pursuit of favorable results.
