Karen Hoffmann

Karen Hoffmann represents a wide variety of clients in state, federal, and administrative matters including immigration, personal injury, and plaintiff-side civil litigation, and has negotiated multiple six-figure settlements for clients. With Aldea – The People’s Justice Center, she helped create precedential asylum case law in the Third Circuit.

Prior to entering the practice of law, she worked as a journalist covering human rights and the environment in Latin America and the Caribbean. Her work has appeared in The Guardian, Earth Island Journal, and The Ecologist. She is admitted in Pennsylvania and New Jersey as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Pennsylvania, the District of New Jersey, and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
