Kristine L. Calalang is the principal of The Law Office of Kristine L. Calalang.  She focuses her practice on helping clients with their domestic relations matters. Ms. Calalang has strong leadership roles as the Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Board of Governors, the Co-Chair of the Solo and Small Firm Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association, and the 2019 Chair of the Family Law Section (FLS).  She is also a member of the FLS Executive Committee, Co-Chair of the FLS Custody Committee, Chair of the Diversity Committee, and a founding member of the Diversity Inclusion Scholarship Committee.  Ms. Calalang is also the Co-Vice Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Legal Academics Committee and the Diversity Liaison for its Family Law Section.  She has also been appointed to serve on the Pennsylvania Bar Association's House of Delegates for Philadelphia.  Ms. Calalang often plans and presents CLE programs for the Philadelphia Bar Association and Pennsylvania Bar Institute. 

Ms. Calalang is the Vice President and was a past President of the Villanova Minority Alumni Society Leadership Board and is a Board Advisor on the Villanova Law Alumni Association (VLAA) Board and the Villanova Law Women's Network. She also routinely serves as an alumni coach for Villanova's Moot Court teams and a mentor for law students. She has served on the Young Lawyer Editorial Board for The Legal Intelligencer and is a member of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association and the Asian American Women's Coalition.  Ms. Calalang also serves on the Board of Directors for the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Pennsylvania (APABA-PA) and is a Co-Chair of the Solo and Small Firm and Community Outreach Committees.  She was also the 2020 Co-Chair of the Lunar Banquet for APABA-PA and has presented programs to the non-legal community for APABA-PA.  Additionally, Ms. Calalang is a mediator and serves as a certified arbitrator for the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County.  

Ms. Calalang has also been recognized and awarded for her legal work and leadership.  In December 2021, she received the Herbert R. Weiman, Sr. & Jr. award from the FLS for her outstanding legal work and service to the families of Philadelphia.  In April 2019, she received the VLAA Gerald Abraham Award for Service to the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law for her exemplary leadership and service to the law school.  In 2019, she was also named as a Bar Star by the Philadelphia Bar Association for her dedication and work for the FLS.  Ms. Calalang was also named as a Rising Star in Super Lawyer: Rising Stars Editions 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2014 and a Super Lawyer in 2020 and 2021.  She was also named as a Lawyer on the Fast Track for 2008 by The Legal Intelligencer and Pennsylvania Law Weekly and has been placed on the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania's Pro Bono Rolls of Honor for exemplary pro bono work each year from 2006 – 2010. Ms. Calalang received her Bachelor’s Degree from The College of New Jersey (majoring in Biology and Psychology with a Chemistry minor) and her Juris Doctor from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law.
