Details
Lawrence Solomon attended Central High School in Philadelphia. Although he was small, his desire and feistiness allowed him to play cadet football. Mr. Solomon graduated from Temple University School of Law and received a Juris Doctor degree. He has been practicing law for over 50 years. He walks at least 2 miles a day and/or works out at a gym at least 3 times a week.
Upon graduating law school, Mr. Solomon worked as a judge’s law clerk. He has litigated several hundred cases and sits at times as a judge on arbitration panels, deciding cases in the Philadelphia Court System which are valued at under $50,000.
Lawrence Solomon was the co-founder of the law firm of Solomon, Sherman, Gabay, Briskin, and Sherman (SSGBS).
Mr. Solomon has personally tried several hundred cases. During the past several years he has primarily handled cases involving Real Estate, including forged deeds. There was an article written in the Philadelphia Inquirer in 2019 which stated that if a person’s house had been taken from him or her because there was a forged deed, “forget about asking the police or DA to help”. Even in the few cases when someone is convicted, the district attorney does nothing to help the person get their property back. Mr. Solomon has been very successful in enabling people to recover their properties from the thieves, even if the thief has sold it to a third party. What most people do not know is that any additional sale is void and the statute of limitations is usually 21 years.
Mr. Solomon primarily handles the following types of cases:
FORGED DEEDS
REAL ESTATE FRAUD INVOLVING THE SALES OF PROPERTY (Particularly when the seller misrepresents the facts on the legally mandated disclosure sheet)
REAL ESTATE FRAUD (Where there is an estate being probated)
LARGE REAL ESTATE PROPERTY DAMAGE
INSURANCE CLAIMS
CLAIMS AGAINST DEVELOPERS OR NEIGHBORS WHO, WHILE DOING CONSTRUCTION WORK, DAMAGE THEIR HOUSES
He has handled and his associates presently handle the following types of cases:
Slip-and-falls
Car accidents
Nursing home abuse
Wrongful death
Defective products
Medical malpractice
Construction accidents
Mr. Solomon does not handle real estate settlements, zoning, and preparation of deeds.
FREE CONSULTATION
When Mr. Solomon says ‘FREE CONSULTATION’, unlike some lawyers who only give you 60 seconds, he actually gives a real free consultation. Mr. Solomon communicates with his clients and they know he is committed to obtaining a successful outcome for them.
For his professionalism and high ethical standards, Mr. Solomon has been peer-review rated as Distinguished* through Martindale-Hubbell. His vast knowledge of the law, admirable litigation skills and courtroom demeanor have been endorsed by many of his fellow attorneys. Well-respected in the legal community, he holds a “Superb” rating and five-star client reviews on Avvo.
