Lawrence Solomon

Based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Lawrence Solomon is the founder and managing partner at Solomon, Sherman, Gabay, Briskin & Sherman. He dedicates his legal practice to personal injury cases. His focus areas include medical malpractice, product liability, automobile accidents, slip-and-fall incidents, construction mishaps, wrongful death and discrimination.

Mr. Solomon graduated from Temple University in 1962 and obtained his Juris Doctor from the Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law in 1966. Since becoming a licensed attorney in Pennsylvania in 1967, he has been admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Western and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania.

Early in his career, Mr. Solomon served as a law clerk for a judge, and over the years, he has litigated hundreds of cases. Additionally, he occasionally serves as a judge on arbitration panels for cases valued at under $50,000 in the Philadelphia Court System.

In recent years, Mr. Solomon has predominantly tackled cases involving real estate, particularly those involving forged deeds. As highlighted in a 2019 article by the Philadelphia Inquirer, victims of property theft through forged deeds often find little assistance from law enforcement or the district attorney's office. Even when convictions occur, the district attorney rarely helps victims reclaim their property. He has effectively aided individuals in recovering properties from fraudulent actors, even when the properties have been sold to third parties.

With an "Excellent" rating on Avvo, Mr. Solomon has garnered an AV Preeminent* peer-review rating through Martindale-Hubbell. Additionally, he actively participates in the Philadelphia Bar Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
