Lee A. Schwartz

As the managing partner at the Schwartz, Fox & Saltzman, LLC, Mr. Schwartz serves clients in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Metropolitan area. Focusing his practice exclusively on family law matters, he assists people who are going through a divorce and other Family Law matters, with issues including property division, alimony, child support, and child custody and visitation, as well as the drafting and negotiating Pre-Marital and Post-Marital Agreements. Mr. Schwartz also handles related cases involving grandparents' rights, order modifications and paternity disputes, and he handles these issues through mediation and collaborative law in addition to litigation. In addition to going to court, Mr. Schwartz is a trained and very experienced mediator. He also practice collaborative law and is appointed a private arbitrator by his colleagues.

Mr. Schwartz graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Bridgeport in 1978 and went on to earn his Juris Doctor from what is now known as Widener University Law School in 1981. He is an active participant in a variety of professional organizations. A former chair of the Family Law Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association, he has served on the Executive Committee of the Nicholas V. Cipriani American Inn of Court. Mr. Schwartz is also the Executive Committee and Member of the of the Family Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Mr. Schwartz served two terms as President of the Nicholas V. Cipriani Family Law American Inn of Court, a professional organization of Family Lawyers and Family Court Judges.

Admitted to practice before all Pennsylvania state courts, Mr. Schwartz is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Highly regarded by his fellow professionals for his experience and high degree of ethics, he has received a 10.0 "Superb" Peer Review Rating through Avvo. Mr. Schwartz has frequently taught continuing legal education courses, to his fellow attorneys, on family law topics for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute (the teaching arm of the Pennsylvania Bar Association) and he has served as an adjunct professor at Philadelphia University. Active in his community as well, he is a long-time participant in the Philadelphia Volunteers for the Indigent Program, which provides pro bono legal services to people who would otherwise be unable to afford them.
