Attorney Mark F. Seltzer is the founding partner of Seltzer and Associates, P.C., in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A 1972 cum laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Mr. Seltzer attended Temple University's James E. Beasley School of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 1976. The Pennsylvania Bar Association admitted him to practice that same year. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit, and he also serves pro hac vice to various federal and state courts throughout the country.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Seltzer, having led such a successful practice for decades, has become a nationally recognized authority in disability insurance law.

Drawing upon his in-depth legal knowledge, Mr. Seltzer has published numerous articles, chapters in four text books and conducted lectures and seminars across the country on a variety of legal topics related to disability insurance law, bad faith insurance, protecting one's assets, licensure issues and more. He is an active member of several local, state and national legal organizations, such as the American Association of Justice, the Pennsylvania and the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Associations, among others, as well as a member of the Federation of State Physician Health Programs and an Honorary member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine.

Committed to his local community, Mr. Seltzer serves on the Executive Committee for the Ruth Fox Memorial Endowment Fund of the
American Society of Addition Medicine, served on the Executive Committee of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Red & White Ball for five years, and serves on the Executive Committee of the Children's Chris Treatment Center Charity Round-Up Ball. He is also a former board member of the Israeli Bonds Foundation's Young Leadership Section and Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers Pennsylvania.
