As a founding and managing partner at Pond Lehocky Stern Giordano in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Samuel H. Pond has been dedicated to serving clients for over 30 years. He has represented many area clients in their workers' compensation claims and appeals, and his efforts on their behalf have resulted in some of the state's largest settlements in these matters.

Mr. Pond was awarded his Juris Doctor by Temple University Beasley School of Law in 1984. He is a past president of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and past chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Workers' Compensation Section. Mr. Pond has been a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation, and he has served on the board of directors of the Pennsylvania Federation of Injured Workers. Mr. Pond serves as treasurer of the Committee for a Better Tomorrow, the political action committee of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, and he is a board member of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Alliance and a member of the USC Shoah Foundation's Next Generation Council. He is also the president of Union Services Access, an organization that provides legal consulting services to unions and union members.

Mr. Pond has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America each year since 2007, and he has received an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell as well as a 10.0 "Superb" peer review rating through Avvo. In addition to his work as a lawyer and advocate for workers' rights, Mr. Pond is also an author, having written and lectured on matters involving workers' compensation. He has made many charitable contributions, particularly in the area of childhood education. He is the creator of the Marie Pond Scholarship, which is named for his mother.
