Stewart L. Cohen

With nearly 50 years of experience in the legal profession, Stewart L. Cohen is sagacious and adaptive to the constant changes and developments that often come with complex legal issues. A shareholder at Cohen, Placitella & Roth, P.C., in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he handles personal injury matters such as medical malpractice, traumatic brain injury, automotive wrecks, birth injury, mesothelioma injuries and mass torts. In addition, he has also effectively represented his clients in subrogation matters, securities litigation and appeals. 

Mr. Cohen started his foray into the world of law when he received his Juris Doctor in 1977 from the Temple University Beasley School of Law. Prior to that, he completed his undergraduate studies with high honors at Pennsylvania State University in 1973, graduating with his Bachelor of Arts degree. He is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey and is also admitted to practice before the following courts:
