Thomas Kenny is the President of Kenny, Burns & McGill in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mr. Kenny practices in the areas of civil litigation, criminal law and real estate and corporate litigation. He has over 25 years of legal experience and represents clients throughout Philadelphia and the surrounding counties.
Mr. Kenny graduated from Philadelphia’s La Salle University in 1992 with a bachelor’s degree. He went on to earn his law degree from Widener University Delaware Law School in 1995. After passing the Pennsylvania bar examination, he obtained his license to practice law before the state courts of Pennsylvania. He is also qualified to appear before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining Kenny, Burns & McGill, Mr. Kenny developed his legal experience through a wide range of roles. He previously worked in the City of Philadelphia Office of the District Attorney in the major trial unit and served as assistant counsel for the Pennsylvania State Employees’ Retirement System. Additionally, he opened his own solo law practice in 2003 and is a former candidate for the Philadelphia City Council.Â
In his current law practice, Mr. Kenny handles a diverse range of legal matters. His blend of experience in civil litigation, criminal defense and real estate law provides him with comprehensive knowledge and experience, which he uses to provide the best possible legal service to his clients for a wide range of legal issues. He has extensive trial experience and has successfully resolved numerous cases through litigation and negotiation over the course of his career.
Outside of his law practice, Mr. Kenny enjoys serving his community. Using his legal background to benefit others, he previously served as a teacher at the American Real Estate Academy.
