Acacia B. Perko

Acacia Brush Perko, a seasoned attorney with Houston Harbaugh, P.C., in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, brings a dynamic approach to the courtroom as a trial lawyer. Her practice spans various areas, including business litigation, intellectual property and employment disputes, with a particular focus on trade secrets, insurance coverage and defense against bad faith claims. She is adept at navigating complex cases involving restrictive covenants and nondisclosure and noncompete agreements.

Ms. Perko’s legal prowess extends across the spectrum of insurance defense and professional liability, with hands-on experience in both trial and appellate advocacy. During her studies, she clerked for a defense firm, contributed to the Law Review executive board and completed externships with esteemed judges in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd District Court of Appeals.

A respected member of the legal community, Ms. Perko is actively engaged with numerous associations such as the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Westmoreland Bar Association, the Women’s Bar Association of Western Pennsylvania, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Columbus Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Before her tenure at Houston Harbaugh, P.C., she was a shareholder at a prominent Cleveland law firm, where she played a key role in management and led the Women’s Leadership Council.
