Arthur H. Stroyd, Jr.

Arthur H. Stroyd Jr. is an attorney at Del Sole Cavanaugh Stroyd LLC in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Mr. Stroyd focuses his practice on business and commercial litigation, as well as alternative dispute resolution. He represents clients in Pittsburgh, Altoona, Erie, Johnstown, Sharon, State College and Williamsport.

Practicing law for over 49 years, Mr. Stroyd is a former managing partner at a major international law firm. Over the years, he has successfully handled cases involving asset valuation, business formation and dissolution, commercial disputes, contracts, corporate waste, intellectual property, product liability, restrictive covenants and real estate.

Mr. Stroyd is certified in mediation, arbitration and early neutral evaluation through the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service and serves as general counsel for the Material Handling Industry. Dedicated to professional education, he regularly lectures on these and other topics at legal conferences and seminars.

Serving his legal community, Mr. Stroyd is a former president of the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County. He previously served on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court Civil Procedural Rules Committee and on the advisory committee of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Commission for Justice Initiatives in Pennsylvania.

After graduating from Kenyon College with a bachelor’s degree in economics, Mr. Stroyd earned his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He is qualified to appear before all Pennsylvania state courts, the U.S. district courts for the western districts of Pennsylvania and New York and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit.
