Craig M. Brooks

An attorney at Houston Harbaugh, P.C., Craig M. Brooks focuses his practice exclusively on labor and employment law. Located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he provides representation to clients throughout the greater metropolitan area. Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania since 1980, Mr. Brooks is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.

In his practice, Mr. Brooks represents companies and management, although he also furnishes assistance to employees on a variety of matters. For his employer clients, he provides advice and counsel on dealing with employee issues, including for example representation regarding claims based on discrimination, wrongful termination and other acts of retaliation, sexual & other harassment, Family and Medical Leave Act, wage & hour issues, non-compete/non-solicitation agreements, etc. In addition to defending them at the trial and appellate levels, Mr. Brooks has also appeared on their behalf before numerous federal and state agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the National Labor Relations Board, the Department of Labor Wage & Hour Division, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission. He also provides training to management and supervisors with the goal of minimizing potential legal claims, and he has represented employees treated unlawfully by their employers.
