Hal K. Waldman

Hal K. Waldman is a well-known personal injury advocate in Pittsburgh and the surrounding communities in Allegheny County and Western Pennsylvania as a whole. He represents clients with significant personal injuries, including those involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice and nursing home abuse. In fact, Mr. Waldman has owned several local nursing homes and assisted living centers, and thus understands how they should be operated and governed.

Among his many accomplishments, Mr. Waldman has been listed as one of the Leading Plaintiff's Lawyers in America (Lawdragon), Top 100 Trial Lawyers (The National Trial Lawyers) and Top 50 Lawyers in Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania Super Lawyers magazine). He is also a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an organization reserved for those who have obtained settlements or verdicts in excess of $1 million on behalf of their clients.

When he is not practicing law, Mr. Waldman is highly involved in several nonprofit and community organizations. He is the chairman of the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and a board member of UPMC St. Margaret teaching hospital. He also served on the Oberlin College President's Advisory Council while in undergraduate school.

Mr. Waldman received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., where he served as the international relations editor of the law journal.
