Heather began her legal career in Pittsburgh concentrating in commercial matters, professional liability and personal injury and family law with a well-known commercial litigation firm. This solid background in litigation provides Heather with the skills to address even the most complex of cases. She complements her litigation skill with certification in collaborative family law.
She attended the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned an undergraduate degree, graduating magna cum laude as she studied political science and English. At Wake Forest University School of Law, she earned her Juris Doctor. While in law school, she earned the Most Outstanding Advocate Award from the North Carolina Advocates for Justice and the Outstanding Law Student Award from the National Association of Women Lawyers.
Heather is admitted to practice in the state of Pennsylvania and before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. A member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, she served on the legislative committee of the Family Law Section and is a former member of the Allegheny County Bar Association Judiciary Committee. She is also a member of the Family Law Section for the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
Using knowledge gained over almost two decades of practicing law, Heather has taught for the National Business Institute, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.
