Kirk B. Burkley

Kirk B. Burkley is managing partner at Bernstein-Burkley, P.C., with offices in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Wheeling. He concentrates his practice in the areas of Bankruptcy & Restructuring and Creditors' Rights. Kirk is experienced in representing secured and unsecured creditors in bankruptcy, including the representation of numerous unsecured creditors' committees and equipment lessors. He is an active member in the American Bar Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute. Kirk frequently appears before the United States District Courts for the Western, Middle and Eastern District of Pennsylvania, as well as the Pennsylvania state courts. In 2020, he served as President of the American Board of Certification, and in 2021, Chairman of the American Board of Certification.
