William F. Goodrich

William F. Goodrich is the managing partner at Goodrich & Geist, P.C. A native of Pittsburgh and with the firm located in that city, he focuses his practice on personal injury and wrongful death litigation, assisting clients throughout the greater metropolitan area and other parts of western Pennsylvania who have suffered economic and noneconomic losses due to the negligence of other parties. Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, Mr. Goodrich is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

The types of cases that Mr. Goodrich has handled have arisen out of incidents involving car, truck and motorcycle crashes, and nursing home neglect, medical malpractice, animal bites, construction site accidents, premises liability and defective products, among others. As a result of the numerous sizable settlements and jury awards that Mr. Goodrich has been able to obtain on behalf of his plaintiff clients, he is a member of the invitation-only Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and his successful track record has led to other recognitions from his fellow professionals as well. The recipient of both an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and a 10.0 "Superb" peer review rating through Avvo, he also been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America on several occasions.

Majoring in sociology, Mr. Goodrich attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, and he received a Bachelor of Arts in 1974. He subsequently pursued his legal education at Duquesne University School of Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1979. A past president of both the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and of what is now called the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, he is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
