Charles A. Rick is the managing partner of the firm Rick Law in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. He represents the residents of the Montgomery, Berks and Chester counties and assists them with business planning, estate planning, probate administration and at times in matters involving family law, criminal law and real estate law.
After graduating from Drexel University's LeBow College of Business with an undergraduate degree in management information systems, Mr. Rick enrolled in Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. He received his doctorate in jurisprudence in 2009.
With Charles' background in family law, he is able to provide ample aid and help his clients who seek his advice on the distribution of marital debts and assets, child support, and child custody and visitation. He also has experience in reviewing and preparing prenuptial and post martial documents. With regard to estate planning, Mr. Rick takes a holistic approach and addresses crisis, spousal and legacy planning. With a blend of Wills and Trusts, he is able to protect assets for generations to come.
Mr. Rick understands the importance of planning and distributing assets properly to avoid any sort of legal complications and battles. He listens to his clients’ requirements and needs and aptly prepares a will to ensure that their families and kids are in a good position after the death of the client.
The American Society of Legal Advocates honored Mr. Rick by including him in their Top 40 Under 40 list in the area of family law in 2020 through 2024, and the same year, he was recognized by Who’s Who Directories as one of the Top Attorneys of North America. He holds the perfect rating of 10 on 10 on Avvo.
A member of the Montgomery County Bar Association since 2010, Mr. Rick has also been serving as the president of the executive board at the Preserve at Montgomery Community Association. He also holds memberships in other associations such as the Berks County Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
