Wilkes-Barre General Hospital Practice Area:Personal Injury Outcome:$1.5 million victory for victim's family Description:The widow of Simon Struzzeri had claimed that Wilkes-Barre General Hospital was responsible for the death of her husband after a nurse had administered a medication after ignoring the orders of the surgeon. Once given the medication, Mr. Struzzeri, who was recovering from minor surgery, had suffered a dramatic drop in blood pressure, causing emergency medical measures to be taken.
