Michael Burke

A pillar of leadership within his legal community with over 30 years of experience, Michael Burke serves clients with enthusiastic zeal and works relentlessly to get them the respite they deserve in their legal matters. A shareholder at the law office of Sansweet, Dearden and Burke, Ltd., in Wayne, Pennsylvania, he serves residents throughout the surrounding region and across the Philadelphia metropolitan area in legal issues concerning consumer protection and health care law, as well as business law, including:

• Employment contracts
• Practice sales and mergers
• Shareholder agreements and operating agreements
• Anti-kickback and stark compliance
• Billing, reimbursement and audits

Mr. Burke completed his undergraduate studies in 1988, graduating summa cum laude with his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance and business law from the Temple University, where he was also a President’s Scholar. He went on to attend the University of Miami School of Law, where he strengthened his shrewd legal acumen and talents through his active involvement in myriad on-campus activities, including being a part of the University of Miami Law Review.

Mr. Burke received his Juris Doctor summa cum laude in 1991, and he ended his tenure with his induction into the Order of the Coif. The same year he graduated from law school, he obtained his license to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Outside his law practice, he has been active in organizations such as the American Health Lawyers Association, with the goal of progressing the standard of client care within his industry to even greater heights.
