Basil Joy

Basil G. Joy represents Goldberg, Goldberg & Maloney clients who look to the law firm for assistance with securing compensation for their injuries. His primary caseload includes motor vehicle accidents, sexual abuse and nursing home abuse in Pennsylvania.

Mr. Joy completed his law degree at Villanova University School of Law and has been licensed to practice in Pennsylvania since 2014. After graduating from law school, he served the Chester County District Attorney’s Office as an assistant district attorney. During this time, he served as the liaison to the Elder Justice Task Force in the county and supervised the county investigating grand jury. He later left public service to work as an attorney at a national law firm.

His previous experience as a prosecutor and a corporate lawyer provides him with the unique insights necessary to represent victims against insurance companies and in cases related to injuries caused by criminal acts. This has contributed to many of the big wins experienced by the firm over the past few years. Not surprisingly, Vista Today named Mr. Joy to its Chester County Top 40 Millennial Superstars list, and he was one of the civil plaintiff's attorneys that made it onto Pennsylvania’s Top 40 Under 40 list.

Outside of work, Mr. Joy remains committed to continued professional development. He also enjoys exploring the beautiful commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
