Brian L. Nagle

Brian concentrates his practice on the areas of land use, zoning, real estate, and general litigation, including appellate practice and tax assessment appeals. Brian has extensive knowledge and experience in managing matters at the municipal and state government levels, also having previously represented various municipalities as a solicitor.  He is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania. He previously served as a law clerk for the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

In nearly twenty years of practice, Brian has attained experience with all levels of zoning and entitlements cases, in particular. This includes a high level of experience with land development and conditional use applications, applications to zoning hearing boards, including variances, zoning officer and related appeals, and special exceptions. Brian has also handled complex procedural and validity challenge cases, including fair share and similar challenges. Brian has also successfully prosecuted numerous zoning changes and land planning related matters. His experience also includes planned community and condominium work, including formation and litigation. Brian has also handled many different levels and varieties of tax assessment appeal and exemption applications.  

Brian is a former President of the Chester County Bar Foundation and is an active member of the Chester County Bar Association, serving as Chair of the Judicial Evaluation and Public Outreach Committees. Brian is also the current President of the Board of Directors of Handi-Crafters, Inc., a Pennsylvania non-profit corporation that serves individuals with disabilities. Brian has served as a lecturer or panelist at Widener University School of Law, the Polley Associates real estate school, West Chester East High School Career Day and the Chester County Stively Inn of Courts.
