Brooke Beares McMorrow

As the managing partner of McMorrow Law, LLC, in Wexford, Pennsylvania, Brooke Beares McMorrow has more than a decade of experience in various aspects of family law and estate planning. Her specific areas of focus include divorce, legal separation, annulment, child custody, child and spousal support, stepparent rights, adoption, estate planning and probate administration. Representing clients throughout the greater Pittsburgh area and southwestern Pennsylvania, Ms. McMorrow also has experience in legal issues relating to adults who have special needs or are incapacitated, including guardianship and special needs trusts, and she also handles general criminal defense, including DUI cases.

After graduating from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism in 1998, Ms. McMorrow attended New England School of Law where she was awarded her Juris Doctor in 2001. Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New York, she is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York. Highly regarded by her peers, Ms. McMorrow has received a 10 "Superb" rating from Avvo.

Prior to entering private practice in 2004, Ms. McMorrow worked as an assistant public defender for the Monroe County Public Defender Office in Rochester, New York. She is an active participant in Allegheny County Bar Association activities and has served on the Executive Council of the Collaborative Law Association of Southwestern Pennsylvania. Ms. McMorrow has training in matters of collaborative law and is a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. Fluent in Spanish, she has given freely of her time and services to the Good Shepherd Legal Foundation and the YWCA Women's Resource Center.
