Tyler J. Foster

Tyler Foster is an esteemed attorney who joined the Schaffranek & Foster, in 2022. His practice encompasses a wide array of family law matters, including divorce, marital property distribution, child and spousal support, child custody, adoption cases and protection from abuse petitions. His service spans from negotiating settlements in uncontested cases to representing clients in complex and contested matters, guiding them through trials with precision and compassion.

Mr. Foster earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in human development and family studies from Michigan State University in 2011, setting the foundation for his passion for family law. He furthered his education by acquiring a Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2014. During law school, he focused on family law, actively participating in the activities of the university’s Family Law Clinic. He also gained valuable experience through a judicial clerkship in the Family Division of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas.

A committed member of the legal community, Mr. Foster is an active participant in the Allegheny County Bar Association and has contributed as a council member for the Family Law Section.
