Joshua J. Cochran

Joshua J. Cochran is an attorney at Schemery Zicolello, P.C., located in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Providing representation to clients throughout the area, he assists employees who have been injured on the job and who are pursuing their claims for workers' compensation benefits under their employers' insurance coverage. Mr. Cochran also represents plaintiffs who have been injured by the negligence of others in motor vehicle accidents or slips and falls due to dangerous conditions on another party's property, and he provides assistance to people who have had their Social Security Disability claims denied.

As an undergraduate, Mr. Cochran attended Lycoming College in Williamsport and graduated summa cum laude in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in history. He then went on to attend Duquesne University School of Law on a full academic scholarship and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 2007. While in law school, Mr. Cochran was a member of the Duquesne Law Review, gaining valuable legal writing experience that has benefited him in the preparation of pleadings and motions in his practice.

After graduation, he spent three years as a clerk for a judge on the Court of Common Pleas - 39th Judicial District of Pennsylvania, and then two years clerking for a judge on the Pennsylvania Superior Court before joining his current firm. Admitted to practice before all Pennsylvania state courts, Mr. Cochran is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

In order to forge connections with fellow attorneys and to stay abreast of current developments in his practice areas, Mr. Cochran is an active participant in several legal organizations. His memberships include the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Lycoming Law Association and North Central Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association.
