Andrew J. Miller

Andrew J. Miller is a partner at MPL Law Firm, LLP, in York, Pennsylvania, where he leads the Renewable Energy Practice Group and focuses his practice on business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate acquisitions, business financing and tax issues. With a deep skill in land use and local government law, he advises developers on all phases of utility-scale, community-scale and net-metering solar projects – securing site control, entitlements and regulatory approvals while resolving preliminary title and leasing considerations.

In addition to his renewable energy work, Mr. Miller counsels clients on the acquisition, development and financing of hotels and warehouses, as well as retail properties. As a licensed title agent, he oversees title and escrow services through the firm’s subsidiary, MPL Landservices, LLC. His corporate practice spans mergers and acquisitions – both asset- and stock-based – as well as general corporate matters and tax planning. A Certified M&A Advisor (CM&AA®), he represents a diverse clientele that ranges from startups to mature corporations across the technology, hospitality, manufacturing and renewable energy sectors.

Committed to public service, Mr. Miller serves as solicitor to multiple townships throughout Southcentral Pennsylvania. In this capacity, he collaborates with municipal colleagues to provide pragmatic, solutions-oriented advice on zoning, land development and local governance.

Before joining MPL Law Firm, LLP, Mr. Miller practiced corporate law in the Washington, D.C., office of a large international firm and clerked for the Hon. Sidney A. Fitzwater in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
