Mark D. Tourgee

With over four decades of experience in the legal profession, Mark D. Touge is a dedicated attorney, representing personal injury victims across Rhode Island. As one of the founding partners at Inman & Tourgee in Coventry, Rhode Island, he handles cases including auto accidents, slip-and-falls, premises liability, product liability and civil litigation. Over the years, he has taken on various cases through settlements, arbitration and trial, and won millions in settlements for his clients.

Mr. Tourgee combines deep knowledge of the Rhode Island courts with a full-service approach to deliver effective legal guidance. He prioritizes regular client contact and a personal touch, building a prestigious practice through tireless dedication. Through this approach, he has successfully represented clients in numerous cases. Recently, he won a $275,000 settlement for a client who was significantly injured in a rear-end motor vehicle accident.

Upon graduating from the University of Rhode Island with a double major in political science and education, Mr. Tourgee enrolled in Oklahoma City University School of Law. Gaining his Juris Doctor in 1982, he was later admitted to practice law in Rhode Island in 1985. In addition to his courtroom practice, he serves as legal counsel for both the Washington County Fair Association and the Rhode Island State Grange.

Staying active in the legal community, Mr. Tourgee is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Oklahoma Bar Association and the American Association for Justice. Apart from his practice, he also has experience in community service and has earned multiple awards for his service, including awards from the Coventry Soccer Association and Pawtuxet Rotary Club. His community involvement includes two decades of service on the West Greenwich Town Council, where he spent ten years as president. Additionally, he dedicated seven years to serving on the boards of both the Louttit Library and the Land Trust.
