Peter A. Hainley

Peter A. Hainley is an attorney at the law firm of Walsh, Brule & Nault, P.C., in Cumberland, Rhode Island. Mr. Hainley concentrates his practice on elder law and estate planning, and helps clients with issues such as guardianships, Medicaid planning, nursing home abuse and probate. He represents individuals and families in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Mr. Hainley has over 17 years of legal experience, and he has worked with many types of elder law and estate planning issues. These include helping clients with the protection and transfer of assets, tax planning and qualification for Medicaid. He has drafted both simple and complex wills, as well as testamentary and living trusts. He has also represented clients in probate litigation, including will contests.

In addition to estate planning and elder law, Mr. Hainley has experience in real estate law. He has familiarity with commercial and residential closings, condominium creation and matters involving deeds, easements and zoning.

A seasoned litigator as well as a transactional attorney, Mr. Hainley is committed to meeting the needs of his clients. Mr. Hainley earned a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Dartmouth College and received his law degree from Roger Williams University School of Law. He holds licenses to practice law in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut. He joined Walsh, Brule & Nault, P.C., in 2001.
