Peter A. Hainley

Peter A. Hainley is an partner at the law firm of Brule, Nault & Hainley P.C., in Cumberland, Rhode Island. Mr. Hainley concentrates his practice on elder law and estate planning, and helps clients with issues such as trusts, estate tax planning, Medicaid planning, and probate. He represents individuals and families in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Over the last 20+ years, Peter has worked with many types of elder law and estate planning issues. These include helping clients with the protection and transfer of assets, tax planning and qualification for Medicaid. He has drafted both simple and complex wills, as well as testamentary and living trusts.

In addition to estate planning and elder law, Mr. Hainley has experience in real estate law. He has familiarity with commercial and residential closings, condominium creation and matters involving deeds, easements and zoning.

Peter is committed to meeting the needs of his clients. He understands that estate planning and elder law issues can be complex and is dedicated to helping his clients plan for their future or attain the best possible outcome for their situation.

Mr. Hainley earned a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Dartmouth College and received his law degree from Roger Williams University School of Law. He holds licenses to practice law in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut. He joined the firm in 2001.
