Samantha McCarthy

Attorney Samantha McCarthy is the managing partner and founder at the law firm McCarthy Law, LLC, in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. She concentrates her practice on estate planning, probate and elder law and represents her clients throughout the region of Rhode Island. 

Before founding her firm, attorney McCarthy gained extensive hands-on experience by working at a few reputed law firms for several years. She also served as a legal intern at the Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training. She is qualified to appear before all state courts of Rhode Island and Massachusetts. 

With over eight years of legal experience, attorney McCarthy understands the importance of estate planning and elder law and the difference it could make on families throughout their lives and after one's passing. She offers efficient and economic legal services and has earned a reputation for her knowledge and professionalism. She is keen on developing good relationships with her clients that would allow them to learn and grow. 

Attorney McCarthy is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association’s Probate and Trust Committee and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She also serves on the board of the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils and is the secretary of the board at the Hope Alzheimer’s Center in Cranston, Rhode Island.

After graduating with a B.A. in mass communication and public relations from the North Dakota State University in 2010, McCarthy earned her Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law in Rhode Island in 2014. During her years at law school, she was recognized for her extensive public interest legal work and commitment to public service by the Feinstein Center for Pro Bono & Experiential Education. 

Attorney McCarthy received a certificate of recognition for her service to the legal society. She was named in the Up and Coming 2022 Lawyers of Rhode Island by Rhode Island Lawyers Weekly. She is rated ''Excellent'' on Avvo, and as a result of her accomplishments and high professionalism, she has earned the respect of her opposing counsel, peers and former clients.
