She earned her Juris Doctor from the New York Law School, where she was a member of the Student Bar Association, Lawyers Without Borders and the New York Law School Coalition for the Homeless.
Ms. Anderson attended the Family Law Trial Advocacy Program and graduated from the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. From 2016 to 2020, she was selected to be an Assistant City Solicitor for the City of Newport, where her responsibility included acting as a district court prosecutor for Newport with regard to criminal misdemeanor arrests. She has gained invaluable experience serving as a prosecutor in the district court as well as the municipal court.
With a “Good” rating on Avvo, Ms. Anderson also received the Client Satisfaction Award by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys in 2016. She is actively involved within the legal community and has memberships in the Rhode Island Bar Association’s Family Court Bench Bar Committee, Technology in the Practice Committee, and Ethics and Professionalism Committee. She is also a member of The Edward P. Gallogly Family Court Inn of Court.
