Brenda F. Rioles

Attorney Brenda F. Rioles is the owner and sole proprietor of the Rioles Law Office, a firm that serves the greater Providence, Rhode Island, community and all outlying counties, in a comprehensive range of family law matters. Ms. Rioles is committed to providing compassionate and thorough representation in cases involving divorce and separation for both same-sex and heterosexual couples; pre- and post-marital agreements; complex divorce division and distribution of marital assets; child custody and visitation; adoption; custodial relocation; juvenile defense and protection; restraining orders and other domestic violence-related matters; and spousal support.

In addition to her practice, Ms. Rioles has devoted her time to lecturing and writing about family law issues in the state of Rhode Island. Her body of work includes a chapter that she recently authored for an edition of "A Practical Guide to Divorce in Rhode Island."

Ms. Rioles has been admitted to practice before Rhode Island state courts since 1986. She was also admitted to practice before California state courts in 1988. Dedicated to continually deepening her knowledge to better serve her clients, she regularly attends seminars on family law topics.

Ms. Rioles completed her undergraduate education at Rhode Island College and obtained her law degree at the New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts, where she graduated with highest honors. She currently holds memberships in the Rhode Island Bar Association's Family Court Bench/Bar committee, the American Bar Association and the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Ms. Rioles also served as the President of the Edward P. Gallogly American Inn of Court, an organization of Rhode Island legal professionals dedicated to furthering the knowledge, professionalism and ethics of the state's bench and bar.
