Attorney Mark B. Morse is the founder and principal of the Law Office Of Mark B. Morse, LLC, in Providence, Rhode Island. A highly accomplished trial lawyer with more than 38 years of legal experience, Mr. Morse serves clients throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts who face serious and complex legal challenges involving any of the following:

· Family law, including divorce, child custody and support, adoptions, and other related matters

Certified in civil trial law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, Mr. Morse has earned a reputation as a tenacious and fierce opponent in court who aggressively pursues the most favorable outcomes possible for those he serves. Although a successful trial attorney, his main goal is to help his clients resolve their conflicts and reach agreements as efficiently as possible, and to that end, he facilitates negotiations and mediation in order to help his clients find solutions without the need for expensive, protracted court battles.
A 1980 graduate of the University of Rhode Island, Mr. Morse obtained his Juris Doctor from New England Law | Boston in 1983. While there, he was heavily involved with the New England Law Review, serving as research editor and contributing articles involving Title VII cases and other legal issues.
The Rhode Island Bar Association admitted him to practice in 1983, and the Massachusetts Bar Association admitted him in 1984. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the District of Rhode Island and the District of Massachusetts as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
A consummate professional, Mr. Morse is a member of numerous local, state and national bar associations, and he serves as on the Executive Committee and is currently the President-Elect of the of the Rhode Island Bar Association . He is also a former president of the Rhode Island Association for Justice (formerly the Rhode Island Trial Lawyers Association), where he currently serves on the Board of Governors. He holds leadership roles in various other professional legal organizations as well. He is State Delegate to the American Association for Justice, formerly chair of the Committee of State Delegates, and has served on the Board of Governors and Executive Committee of the American Association for Justice.
Recognized for his impeccable professionalism and service, Mr. Morse has received many awards and accolades throughout his career, including an AV Preeminent peer review rating* from Martindale-Hubbell, and he received the Lifetime Achievement Award from America's Top 100 Attorneys in 2016. He is an animal rights advocate, and has represented numerous animal advocacy groups throughout his career. He has been honored with the Rhode Island Bar Association Dorothy Lohmann Public Service Award for his dedication to animal rights advocacy; most notably with the Defenders of Animals group.
