Mary Cavanagh Dunn

A partner at Blish & Cavanagh, LLP, Mary Cavanagh Dunn represents clients in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Her experience extends to legal matters related to probate, constitutional concerns, employment issues, personal injury, media, products liability and business/commercial litigation. With almost a decade of experience as a partner at the firm, she is extending her practice to include probate courts and appeals in Superior Court.

Admitted to practice in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island, Ms. Dunn is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit and the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island. She is a member of the Federal Bar Association, the House of Delegates of the Rhode Island Bar Association and the Planning Committee of the Rhode Island District Court Preferences as well as a former president of the Rhode Island Women’s Bar Association.

Ms. Dunn attended the College of the Holy Cross, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history in 1996. At Suffolk University Law School, she studied law and graduated cum laude with her Juris Doctor degree in 2002. While in law school, she was a staff member of the Moot Court Honor Board and a recipient of the Jurisprudence Award.

An active member of her community, Ms. Dunn gives back through regular service as a member of the Board of Trustees of the TGC Memorial Fund, Inc. Through both private and court-sponsored mediation, she has helped many clients find efficient solutions to their most pressing legal problems.
