Thomas William Lyons III practices law in Rhode Island and represents clients in personal injury and business law. After he received his law degree from Case Western Reserve University Law School, Mr. Lyons was admitted to the Rhode Island Bar. He is also a member of the Massachusetts Bar, the U.S. District Court for Rhode Island, the U.S. District Court for Massachusetts and the 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Lyons has released a number of published works on a wide range of topics in the Rhode Island Bar Journal, where he served as Editor-in-Chief from 1998 to 2002. These include articles on products liability defenses, ethics, single arbitration clauses and the power of the Supreme Court.

Mr. Lyons recognizes the importance of involvement in professional associations, such as service on the Executive Council for National Conference of Bar Presidents since 2007. Among others, he has served in positions with the Rhode Island Supreme Court and the DRI's Commercial Litigation Committee as well as serving as Chair of the Bar Committee of the Superior Court Bench. He also belongs to the Rhode Island Bar Association and formerly served on its executive committee and as president.
