While in law school, he received several honors, including membership in the Order of the Wig and Robe, the American Bar Association Trial Competition Team and the John Belton O’Neall American Inn of Court. He was also the 1994 winner of the University of South Carolina Trial Competition.
Mr. Sloan is admitted to practice in Florida and South Carolina. Along with these state courts, he is admitted to practice before the United States District Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit and the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina.
A charter member of the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America’s National Advisory Board, Mr. Sloan is currently a member of the Lawyer’s LogBook publication’s Editorial Board. Mr. Sloan is also a charter member of the Academy of Truck Accidents Attorneys’ Board of Regents.
