David W. Overstreet

David focuses his practice on commercial litigation and professional liability. He spends a significant amount of time representing businesses and professionals in civil suits, including attorneys. He also speaks to groups including insurers, law schools, and organized professional associations about claim avoidance and mitigation.

In over 25 years of practice, David has tried cases throughout the state of South Carolina in state and federal courts. He has served on various state bar committees including the Judicial Qualifications Committee, Ethics Advisory Committee, and others. He is la member of ABOTA is and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® for Commercial Litigation. David is also a certified Circuit Court Arbitrator.

David has represented attorneys and other professionals in various high-profile suits. He also represents parties in licensure and regulatory proceedings. David is an active member of both the South Carolina and Georgia bars.
