Jerry Meehan

Jerry Meehan is a trial lawyer at Crantford Meehan, Attorneys at Law, LLC in Charleston, South Carolina, where he represents people who have been seriously injured through no fault of their own. His practice is devoted to personal injury litigation, including car, truck, and motorcycle accidents, premises liability, workers' compensation, and wrongful death. He tries cases, and insurance companies know it.

A South Carolina native raised in the Lowcountry, Mr. Meehan earned his Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of South Carolina in 2005 and his Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law in 2014, where he interned under U.S. District Judge Solomon Blatt, Jr. He was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2015, and in 2017 he was selected to attend the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College, an invitation-only program dedicated to training lawyers who actually try cases to verdict.

Mr. Meehan is rated AV Preeminent* by Martindale-Hubbell — the organization's highest peer rating for legal ability and ethics — has been recognized by Super Lawyers, and is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He is admitted to practice before all South Carolina state courts, the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
