W. Mullins McLeod, Jr.

After Mr. McLeod received an undergraduate degree from Wofford College in 1994, he went on to earn a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1997.

Mr. McLeod has more than 17 years of experience representing a variety of clients, including those affected by irresponsible commercial practices, nursing home abuse, catastrophic injury and mass toxic torts. His many successes include a case involving a South Carolina chemical spill involving 100 victims and a railroad chemical spill that left over 3,000 people injured, making it the second biggest disaster of its type to happen in the history of the United States. In all, Mr. McLeod has won over $150 million on behalf of injured clients in verdicts and settlements throughout his career.

Reflecting his deep commitment to the state of South Carolina, Mr. McLeod served as chair of the Charleston County Democratic Party for two terms. He also attempted a run for governor of South Carolina in 2010 as a Democratic Party candidate. Mr. McLeod is a member of the South Carolina Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.
