Alexandra Benevento

In the vibrant city of Columbia, South Carolina, Alexandra Benevento shines as a distinguished attorney at Strom Law Firm. Her legal prowess extends across the Columbia DMA, Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson DMA and Walterboro, South Carolina. Joining the firm in late 2012, she has carved her niche in civil rights, civil litigation and criminal defense.

Ms. Benevento is dedicated to providing empathetic representation and has championed the cause of thousands in both state and federal courts. Her fervor for social justice, restorative justice, sentencing equality and criminal justice reform fuels her support for numerous organizations and nonprofits that advocate for the wrongfully convicted, newly released and historically marginalized.

Hailing from western New York, Ms. Benevento pursued her law degree at the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law, graduating in 2009. She was licensed in South Carolina the following year and secured admission to the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina. Her journey began as a paralegal at a small firm, and before joining Strom Law Firm, she navigated the legal waters as a solo practitioner with a focus on criminal defense and personal injury.
