Charles W. Whetstone, Jr.

An experienced attorney and partner with the law firm of Whetstone Perkins & Fulda, Charles W. Whetstone Jr. focuses his practice on personal injury, medical malpractice, workers’ compensation, business litigation, construction litigation and other general civil litigation matters. His law firm’s offices are spread across Columbia, Kingstree, Marion and North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

With 47-plus years of legal experience, Mr. Whetstone possesses the necessary knowledge as well as the resources to maximize opportunities for a positive outcome. As a former South Carolina Circuit Court Judge, he formed opinions over hundreds of civil and criminal cases. He also gained experience working as a general practitioner at a firm in St. Matthews, South Carolina, for a few years.

Majoring in political science and government, Mr. Whetstone completed his Bachelor of Arts at Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business at Clemson University in 1972. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law and his South Carolina license in 1975. Furthermore, he has successfully handled a number of cases before the federal courts of South Carolina and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit.
