Frederick Jekel is a partner at the prestigious firm of Jekel-Doolittle, LLC, and serves clients in the Charleston, South Carolina, area. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina in 1989 and his Master of Public Administration, as well as his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1993.
Mr. Jekel has been a leader in his industry throughout his legal career. One of the best examples of this fact was his management of a nationwide lead poisoning campaign, during which he successfully litigated cases in South Carolina, North Carolina, Missouri, Illinois, Ohio and West Virginia.
Mr. Jekel has successfully litigated several high profile asbestos cases and won awards on behalf of his clients exceeding $1 million. He was instrumental in personal injury and class action cases stemming from a train derailment and represented students whose civil rights were violated during a failed drug raid on a high school. During this case, Mr. Jekel helped his clients attain an award of over $1 million.
