Mr. Moylan also secured a settlement of more than $1.5 million against a surgeon and hospital for an injured client. In a False Claims Act lawsuit, he secured the largest settlement in the state's history for that time.

After his graduation from Harvard Law School in 1987, Mr. Moylan was admitted the following year to The District of Columbia Bar as well as the South Carolina Bar. He understands the value of maintaining professional associations and is a member of the American Bar Association, the South Carolina Bar Association – for which he served on the Board of Delegates from 2002 to 2004 – the South Carolina Association for Justice and The John Belton O'Neall Inn of Court. He has served as an elder in the Presbyterian Church and acted as PTO president of a local elementary school.
