Robert G. Rikard

Since 1997, Robert G. Rikard has represented clients in high-stakes civil and criminal litigation across the United States. Today, his practice is focused on complex civil, business, and financial litigation—most notably, his nationally recognized work representing individuals harmed by Indexed Universal Life (IUL) insurance policies and related financial products.

Mr. Rikard is the founder and managing partner of RP Legal  LLC, a national litigation firm at the forefront of IUL recovery. His team has successfully pursued claims against insurance carriers, agents, and broker-dealers who misled clients into purchasing IULs disguised as safe, tax-free retirement plans. RP Legal has secured results for retirees, business owners, and professionals who suffered substantial losses due to deceptive illustrations, premium financing schemes, and policy design failures.

With over two decades of courtroom experience, Mr. Rikard brings a comprehensive litigation background to his IUL work, having previously handled a wide range of criminal defense and civil matters. He has represented clients in white collar fraud, securities violations, and complex federal investigations.
