S. Randall Hood

A veteran attorney with decades of experience, S. Randall Hood provides judicious legal representation to clients in matters pertaining to all aspects of personal injury law, including motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, truck collisions, birth injuries, construction accidents, dangerous drugs, and class actions and mass torts. A partner at the law office of McGowan, Hood, Felder & Phillips, LLC, in Columbia, South Carolina, he serves residents throughout the surrounding region, as well as in Rock Hill.

Mr. Hood completed his undergraduate studies in 1985, graduating with his Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He went on to attend the Joseph F. Rice School of Law – University of South Carolina and received his Juris Doctor in 1992. The same year, he obtained his license to practice law in South Carolina and later gained admission to practice before the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina, the United States Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.

A stalwart advocate for his clients, Mr. Hood fights tooth and nail to give them the amicable resolution they deserve for the pain and suffering they have had to endure. For his many contributions, he has been recognized as one of America’s Top 100 Attorneys and is also certified by the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys as a specialist in medical malpractice.
