During her time in law school, she gained valuable legal experience that helped shape her career in litigation and client advocacy. She was admitted to practice law in South Carolina in 2017.

Early in her legal career, Ms. Pittman served as a law clerk for the Honorable Salley Huggins McIntyre, a Fourth Circuit Family Court judge for the State of South Carolina. In this role, she developed insight into judicial decision-making and courtroom procedures. She later worked as an assistant public defender in South Carolina’s Fourth Judicial Circuit, where she represented clients in criminal matters and gained significant courtroom experience.
