John E. Rosen

John E. Rosen is the sole attorney at the J. Rosen Law, LLC. He has extensive experience in handling business, commercial and real estate litigation for the residents of Charleston, South Carolina. His legal practice primarily encompasses the following areas:

With more than 15 years of experience, Mr. Rosen represents a broad client base, including, but not limited to, corporate clients, owners and carriers of long-term leases, business formations, private landowners, governmental entities, and those in negotiation with cell tower companies. As someone who honors his clients’ resources and interests, he ensures to provide responsive and diligent legal representation at an affordable cost. 

Admitted to practice law in all state courts in South Carolina, Mr. Rosen also appears before the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina. He is an engaging member of the South Carolina legal sphere and maintains memberships with many notable legal organizations such as the Charleston County Bar Association, the American Bar Association (Business Law Section, Business and Corporate Litigation Committee, and the Business Torts & Unfair Competition Committee) and the South Carolina Bar. 

Mr. Rosen is a 1997 B.A. graduate in history from the University of Virginia. He further pursued his interest in the legal profession at the University of South Carolina – Joseph F. Rice School of Law, graduating with a J.D. in 2004. While at law school, he honed his legal skills and developed his foundations by briefly clerking at two prominent law firms. Before his legal studies, he earned an International Master of Business Administration from the University of South Carolina – Darla Moore School of Business in 2004. 

Recognized for his shrewd legal acumen and diverse professional background, Mr. Rosen has received many accolades from prestigious organizations that attest to his high caliber. He is peer-review rated AV Preeminent* through Martindale-Hubbell and was the 2019 Legal Elite Winner for the Corporate Law, Mergers & Acquisitions Law Section by the Charleston Business Magazine. Furthermore, he was inducted into The Best Lawyers in America publication for commercial litigation from 2016 to 2020. 

Mr. Rosen grew up with a family of lawyers and acknowledges the various opportunities and responsibilities they get to accomplish.
