Christopher Pracht

Christopher Pracht is the visionary behind Pracht Injury Lawyers, LLP, with offices spread across Anderson, Greenville, Camden and Summerville in South Carolina. As a seasoned attorney in the Greenville office, he passionately champions the cause of personal injury, wrongful death and significant injury claims throughout the state. His life's mission revolves around advocating for victims of wrongful death, a cause he has passionately pursued for over 15 years, securing more than $70 million in verdicts and settlements for his clients. In July 2022, Mr. Pracht made headlines by securing a $20,730,000 verdict in the wrongful death case of Zerihun Wolde, marking a historic achievement in Horry County, South Carolina. His reach extends beyond state borders, having handled wrongful death cases in North Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Alaska. With an extensive network of co-counsel across the U.S., he is well-equipped to manage cases nationwide, having recovered over $17 million for clients in 2023 alone.

Born and raised in Anderson, South Carolina, Mr. Pracht has been a steadfast advocate for families grieving the loss of loved ones for over 14 years. After earning his J.D. cum laude from the Charleston School of Law in 2008, he gained invaluable experience clerking for the Honorable J. Cordell Maddox of the South Carolina Circuit Court, before establishing his own practice in Anderson in 2009.

Before embarking on his legal journey, Mr. Pracht obtained a B.A. in political science from the College of Charleston. His formative years included working alongside Alex Sanders, a distinguished South Carolina trial lawyer and retired chief justice, whose influence inspired him to dedicate his career to representing everyday people.

Throughout his career, Mr. Pracht has navigated various legal arenas across South Carolina, including the courts of common pleas, general sessions, summary court, municipal court and magistrate’s court, as well as participating in appeals before the South Carolina Supreme Court and the South Carolina Court of Appeals. Initially starting as a general practitioner, he now devotes his practice to wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases.

A respected figure in the legal community, Mr. Pracht was recently elected to the board of the South Carolina Justice PAC. In 2015, he joined the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Recognized for his client dedication, he holds an “Excellent” rating on Avvo and was honored with the 10 Best Client Satisfaction Award by the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys.
